Quarantine Thoughts

It seems to me the world is moving a little faster than it should.  It seems the me the world is always moving at a frantic pace to get to the next place, to do the next thing.  We are grasping, frantically reaching so furiously for tomorrow, for the future, that we completely miss today.

Tomorrow is going to be gone in a blink of an eye.  But this moment... the present... right now is eternal.  Whoa!  Stop and think about it.  This moment is eternal.  If you are so busy in the future.  If you are stuck in the past.  You are missing this eternal moment.

How freaking sad is that?  Dude, that is next level tragedy!

Stop what you are doing and reflect on Dave's words.  What is worth rushing back to?  What is worth bringing into the eternal moment?

This moment you have right now is ever slipping past and unless you slow down and focus on it, it will all be wasted.  And here is the big truth: how you choose to spend your eternal moment is where you end up.  If you are mindlessly consuming, you will mindlessly end up consumed.  Fast food.  Instagram.  Fast fashion.

Feed your body with intention.  Feed your mind with intention.  Feed your lifestyle with intention.  Feed your freaking saving account with intention.

Can I get an AMEN?

  1. 100%!!! We have to take in each moment as we receive it and live in it, party in it, love in it, enjoy it, even if it sucks (at that moment) because once its over its gone. Remember your past but don't dwell in it, plan for the future but don't get so stressed and caught up in planning that you miss right now. Set Intent, enjoy, accomplish, crush!
