Update

Our house project is coming along.  We won't finish in the time I allotted for it.  *sigh*  It doesn't help that I had to take 6 days off for illness.  Tim and the kids carried on, though which is awesomeness!

I still need to go in and recaulk my bathroom.  Our bedroom is done and I'm now contemplating our decorations.  Due to the change in the arrangement of our future, I think the decorations we kept need some adjusting.  Our prints of the Book of Kells and our tapestry are all too high and look a bit odd.  Only problem is Tim used every last drop of paint on the little girls' room so I can't cover the mounts for the tapestry.  If it kills me I'll just have to go pick up a pint, :).

Tim completed the boys' room and the little girls' room.  We weren't able to change much in the girls' arrangement and it is on my list to do for when we win the lottery or sumfin (might wanna buy a lottery ticket...).  But the bathroom: fingers are crossed.

Tim removed the shower doors last night.  I picked up some counter refinisher.  $20 to paint the formica or around $400 for new cabinets... easy choice at this time.  New sink, new wall color, do some shuffling and removing of decorations and it should feel all new.

We are trying out Glidden's new paint called Duo I believe.  It's paint and primer in one.  The color is Red Delicious and is a red, red color.  Tim picked it out.

I think I will do the caulk in our bathroom and begin the ugly process of removing it in the main bathroom.

We are planning to get away for 4 days, 3 nights next week.  Most likely Seaside.  The weather won't be conducive to much outdoor sport so we are leaving our bikes home this trip.  But this water baby will be back with her beloved!

  1. I should note that the reason the decorations in my bedroom are too high is because they were above a piece of furniture. The Kells prints were above my bed and the tapestry was above my writing desk.
