Beauty - Miscellaneous Reviews

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer - I felt that this was too light weight.

*Tom Ford Traceless Soft Matte Primer - I need to try out a full size container because the sample was magical.  I don't have oily skin, but I can get shiny in this heat and humidity and my base looked the same hours later as when first applied when I tried out this primer.

La Mer The Moisturizing Soft Cream - I don't see any changes in my skin that make this worth the price.  I prefer Charlotte's Magic Cream over this and honestly think La Roche Pose's cream is just as nice.

Skylar Coconut Grove Parfum - Too juvenile, simple for my preferences.

*Supergoop Daily Dose Vitamin C + Spf - I thought this was really nice.  I don't know about the efficacy of the vitamin C, but I really liked the formula and love 2 steps in one!  I want to try this out more long term.

*(Malin+Goetz) meadowfoam oil balm. - I really like this.  It is soothing and extremely hydrating.  I would think this is too oily for those with oily skin, but I really love this and already have purchased a full size.

Megababe Space Bar Detoxifying Charcoal Underarm Bar - A lovely soap, but I can't say that I noticed a difference in body order and for the other comments see below.

The Famous Black Soap Sea Mud Deep Cleansing Bar - It's a lovely soap.  I am not a fan of bar soaps overall... let me explain.  I love the economy of bar soaps.  Minimal packaging.  Last forever.  But, they make a mess wherever they are used and a black soap makes an even more visible mess.

Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Cream - A decent cream, but nothing stands out.  I love the smell of this product which is very much an authentic ginseng smell.

The Nue Co Forest Lungs - I was so hopeful for this.  I love the science behind forest bathing and the premise, the practice.  I can't stand the smell of this and it is anything, but relaxing to me.

Creed Wind Flowers - I am surprised by how much I like this.

*Kopari Ultra Restore Body Butter - I really like this product.  I plan to try a full size after I use up all my current body moisturizers.

*Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm - I love this.  It smells luxurious and spa like.  I love how my skin feels when I use this.  I have a super sized container that I purchased during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

*Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Omega-Rich Cloud Cream - I really enjoyed this and want to try out a full size after I run though my plethora products.

*Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye Rescue - This is my currently holy grail eye cream.  It makes a huge difference in the moisturization of my under eye.  Seriously magic.

*Skin Science Hydrating Face Serum with Hyaluronic Acid - I love how moisturizing this is.  Kind of end of story.  Would purchase again.

Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream - Not sure what I think.  I think I have products that are significantly less that work just as effectively.  Not sure if I will buy to try out a full size.

Drunk Elephant Protini Powerpeptide Resurf Serum - I really liked this, but I felt that I've used similar products for less before so I wouldn't purchase a full size.

Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado - I bought this in hopes that it would replace my CT Magic Eye Rescue.  Nope.  I don't like the way it sinks into the skin... it actually doesn't and instead sort of lays on top.  I love Kiehl's products in general.  Just not this one.

Paula's Choice Weightless Body Treatment 2% BHA - Meh.  I don't find this moisturizing enough (at all) which means I have to use 2 products and I already struggle with apply body products daily anyhow.

The Ordinary "Buffet" Multi-Technology Peptide Serum - After a whole bottle of this I can say that I see no improvement in my skin.  It's a why bother for me.

Jo Malone Wood Save & Sea Salt Body Gel - I have yet to meet a body wash that is worth a luxury price.

Shea Moisture Manuka Honey & Yogurt Glow Getter Nourishing Cleanser - This is a good cleanser.  Not my fave though as it feels more mask like.  I purchased this because there are some other products in the Manuka Honey line that I really like.

Verso Super Eye Serum with Retinol 8 - this is a solid eye cream, but doesn't replace my holy grain CT Magic Eye Rescue.

*Kiehl's Retinol Skin-Renewing Daily Micro-Dose Serum - I really, really like this.

*Careprost Bimatoprost Ophthalmic Solution - This has been the only thing so far that has caused eye lash growth.  Unfortunately this only helps with lengthening and not new hair growth.  I will keep using this for sure, but want to see if I can add something that will thicken my lashes.

Nuface Fix - Does this do anything?

*Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair - I definitely want to try this more as this is really moisturizing and luxurious.

*Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops - This stuff is magical on the skin.  I love how dewy my skin looks.  I don't know if there is any long term benefit, but this is on my list to purchase once my current serum runs out.

*Burt's Bees Pomegranate Moisturizing Lip Balm - My holy grail lip balm.  I love the consistency and that it slightly colors my lips.  Sublime.

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Resurfacing Body Scrub - A nice body scrub.  Not worth a higher price tag so if you can get this on sale maybe consider it.

Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Eye Zone Treatment - It's ok.  I don't have much to say about this because it's not CT Magic Eye Rescue.

*Tula The Cult Classic purifying face cleanser - One of the nicest cleansers I have ever used.  I love to use this as a second cleanser.  I love the smell, the texture, the way my skin feels after it.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner - I've tried a few like this and I am not seeing any benefit from using them.  I love taking care of myself on one hand and on the other, if my routine has too many steps I'm more prone to skip it.  Smarter not harder even when I enjoy it on a theoretical level.

Drunk Elephant TLC Sukari Babyfacial - It is nice, but not worth the price.

L'Occitane Rich Body Lotion - love the product, hate the packaging.  For the price of the product, you would think it would use above subpar packaging.  1/5th of the product is left when the pump can no longer pull out product.  So you have to take the pump off and slap the rest out.  Why.

*Shea Moisture Manuka Honey & Yogurt Glow Getter Pressed Serum Moisturizer w/ Vitamin C - This is a really lovely moisturizer.  I am not sure which one I prefer to use more like a serum, this one or the (Malin+Goetz) meadowfoam oil balm.
