Your Daily Story

We've been talking about the stories we tell ourselves, the stories we tell about our past, the stories we tell others.

Let's take a look at some current stories that most likely everyone reading has had the misfortune to tell... usually often.

    "How are you doing?"

    "Good, tired, busy.  You?"

    "Same."

Are you tired of being tired?

Are you tired of being busy?

What would happen if instead of the above, it was this instead:

"How are you doing?"

"Good, I am full of energy!"

"Um, oh!  That's awesome."

Or this:

"How are you doing?"

"Good, I have all the time I need for the important things!"

"Um, oh!  That's awesome."

The stories we tell affect the way our brains process our days.  Changing our words might not seem like it should impact anything, but in reality your brain loves to be in sync with your words.  If you say you are full of energy, your brain is going to do it's best to bring your body into alignment.  If you say you have all the time for the important things, your brain is going to do it's best to make that a reality.

Let's run an experiment, instead of tired and busy use statements like:

  • I am vibrant.
  • I honor my priorities.
  • I am full of life.
  • I have all the time I need.
  • I am 100% that bitch.
  • I am TURNT!
  • I feel amazing.
  • I love my day.
I have another thought in regards to this that I offer up for your consideration.

Being busy does not make you valuable.

You are NOT worth more because you have less time.  You have less time to make your life more worthwhile.

Whoa!  Dude!  Let me repeat:

You are NOT worth more because you have less time.

You have less time to make your life more worthwhile.

Being tired is not a state of health.  It is a state that says your life is out of balance.  Your health is out of balance.  You are not your best self and your less than best self cannot manifest your best life.

Think on that.
