Caesura

caesura (/siˈzjʊərə/plcaesuras or caesuraeLatin for "cutting"), also written cæsura and cesura, is a metrical pause or break in a verse where one phrase ends and another phrase begins. It may be expressed by a comma, a tick, or two lines, either slashed (//) or upright (||). In time value, this break may vary between the slightest perception of silence all the way up to a full pause.[1] The length of a caesura where notated is at the discretion of the conductor.

I had never heard of a caesura before, have you?  It's quite a beautiful concept though.

It is a deliberate pause between one phrase and the next.

It is in the empty spaces that we can take note of the beauty in music, the beauty of life.

Where in your life are you expressing caesura.  Where are your empty spaces.  Where are your negative spaces that enhance the vibrancy around you.

We forget that caesura enhances pleasure.  We forget that negative space in art transforms chaos into beauty.

Is your life chaotic?  How would a deliberate pause add beauty and strength?
