I Heard It's Your Birthday

It's my birthday too!  I'm 37 years old today.  3 + 7 = 10/1 and my Life Path or Birth Force number is 10/1 so I'm going to take that as a good omen for this year :) .  I don't have much to share today. 

I got some knitting done yesterday on some slippers for Tim and got some reading done on The Power of Rest.  I am really enjoying that book so far.  This blog will most likely become a photo blog for the next few days.  So here goes, sharing my attempt at photography, still haven't finished the manual on my camera, but anyways, how many more commas can I add to this?

 This last photo was taken in our room.  This little altar was made by my friend Anna.  Even smaller and more portable than the portable altar I made for myself.  Isn't it lovely? 

We are headed to Cannon Beach today.  I hope the rains let up so that we can spend some time on the beach.  It was coming down in thick sheets yesterday.
